The essence of Morocco is in its
ancient cities, medieval bazaars and high mountain villages,
with arid deserts and amazing mud-brick towns adding further
depth. Add the combination of Arab and Berber cultures
along with a pinch of French colonial style and you have
a truly irresistible mix. From Casablanca we travel west
to explore the imperial cities of Rabat, Meknes and Fes.
Turning south we stop in a small town in the Atlas mountains
to enjoy some easy walks, before we reach the edge of the
Sahara where we ride camels at sunset and spend a night
under the stars. We visit the celebrated Todra and Dades
Gorges and greet Berber villagers as we hike along the
lovely M'Goun Valley. We explore extraordinary mud-brick
kasbahs and fortified villages and drive over the Atlas
Mountains to the enchanting coastal town of Essaouira.
Our trip ends in the magical city of Marrakech.
Cultural Adventure - With focus on local
cultures and historic sites, these trips have the perfect
mix of discovery, exploration, comfort and relaxation.

Easy Walk - These trips can be enjoyed
by just about anyone. We walk on well defined trails and
rarely exceed five walking hours in a day.
Itinerary
Day 1 - (Sun) Arrive in Casablanca and
transfer to hotel.
Day 2 - Visit Hassan II Mosque and the
new medina. Drive to Rabat. Visit the Chellah, Kasbah des
Oudayas and Hassan minaret.
Day 3 - Visit Volubilis. Continue to
Meknes to the old medina and bazaars. Arrive in Fes.
Day 4-5 - Visit the old city, including
Musee Belghazi and Funduk Nejjarine.
Day 6 - Drive to Midelt and enjoy an
easy afternoon hike.
Day 7 - Morning walk before driving to
Merzouga. Sunset camel ride to desert camp.
Day 8 - Drive to Todra Gorge for a two
hour walk, then on to the Dades Valley. Overnight in a
Berber house.
Day 9 - Full day exploring and walking
in M'Goun Valley.
Day 10 - Visit Skoura Kasbah and Ait
Benhaddou.
Day 11 - Drive over Atlas mountains to
Marrakech.
Day 12 - City tour, including the Bahia
Palace and Marrakech Museum.
Day 13-14 - Two nights in the charming
coastal town of Essaouira.
Day 15 - Morning free to explore. Return
to Marrakech.
Day 16 - Trip ends in Marrakech this
morning (Mon).
